DESCRIPTION
2P Nitro is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer designed to supply slow-release nitrogen that your plants can use continuously throughout the growing season while reducing the nitrogen tie-up in the soil, and run-off into water resources.
2P Nitro incorporates Urea Formaldehyde that is degraded in soil by microbes and decomposes to urea and formaldehyde. Urea is used as a nitrogen source via the mineralization of urea to ammonium for your plant nutrient, while formaldehyde is incorporated immediately into the microbial C1 metabolic pathways in soil.
Whilst 16% of Potassium Oxide in 2P Nitro content is;
- associated with the movement of water, nutrients, and carbohydrates in plant tissue. It’s involved with enzyme activation within the plant, which affects protein, starch and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production. The production of ATP can regulate the rate of photosynthesis.
- helps regulate the opening and closing of the stomata, which regulates the exchange of water vapor, oxygen and carbon dioxide. If K is deficient or not supplied in adequate amounts, it stunts plant growth and reduces yield.
- For perennial crops such as alfalfa, potassium plays a role in stand persistence through the winter.
2P Nitro sustains high yields while protecting the environment.
